SPRING RECITAL
Youth Dance Ensemble's Spring Recital is an exciting celebration of our dancers' hard work and training throughout the year. We use age appropriate costumes, music and choreography to create an entertaining show. Upper-level dancers showcase work they have learned from Guest Choreographers. Seniors are recognized during their senior solo performance set by staff and guest choreographers. A crowd favorite is the Father/Daughter dance where we get to see the dads show their moves. Our dancers look forward to this performance as the pinnacle of their year at Youth Dance Ensemble.

This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a Minnesota State Arts Board Operating Support grant, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.

The mission of the Youth Dance Ensemble is to enrich the residents of the south metro area by providing an environment of dance training & performance with emphasis on artistic, technical, & creative content. Programming for all learners will stimulate & nurture creative thinking & positive self-image. We will inspire to understand & appreciate dance in its many forms, to preserve & promote the art of ballet & related cultural traditions.
